Art deco pressed glass opalescent dish

£250.00

An art deco pressed glass opalescent dish, very much in the Lalique style.

The (underside) relief moulded design features a pair of swans with overhanging branches and lakeside scenery.

The dish was made by Julien of Paris. This, along with the number 429, is moulded into the base.

The dish dates to around 1930.

The dish measures approximately 31.5 cm (12.5") by 26 cm (10.25"), and weighs a very heavy 1960 grammes.

Pre-owned, the dish is in very good condition.
There is a small chip to the underside of one of the handles (see photo).
