Victorian Scottish silver toddy ladle, 1839

Antique Victorian Scottish silver toddy ladle, bearing a cast (both sides) finial which has been engraved with a Phoenix.

The toddy ladle bears the hallmarks for Glasgow 1839, and the maker Robert Gray & Son.

The toddy ladle is 17.3 cm (6.8") long. The bowl is 4.5 cm (1.8") in diameter and 1.8 cm (.7") deep. It weighs 50 grams.
All measurements are approximate.


The toddy ladle is in very good condition, with just light overall scratching commensurate with age and usage.
