Silver preserve spoon, Sheffield 1934

A solid silver preserve spoon, featuring an art deco influenced stylised rat tail design to the back of the bowl.

The spoon is fully hallmarked with the Lion rampant for sterling silver, the Sheffield town assay office mark, and the date letter "r" for 1934. The spoon carries the maker's mark "HF&Co" for Harrison Fisher & Co.

Harrison Fisher & Co worked from the Trafalgar Works, Trafalgar Street, Sheffield.

The spoon is in very good condition.

The spoon measures 13 cm (5") long and weighs 21g.
