Greenock Scottish silver, Alexander Campbell c1790

This Greenock Scottish provincial silver tea spoon was made by Alexander Campbell.
The spoon's finial has been engraved "R", "MG" and "3".

The spoon carries the mark for Alexander alongside a Greenock "G" mark.

Alexander Campbell is known to have worked between c1790-1810.

The spoon is in very good condition.

The spoon measures 12.7 cm (5") long, and weighs 14g.
