Arbroath Scottish silver, Andrew Davidson, c1845

This rare Arbroath Scottish provincial silver tea spoon was made by Andrew Davidson. The spoon's finial has been engraved "IR". The spoon carries the mark for Andrew, alongside two pot of lilies stamps and a portcullis mark. Andrew Davidson is known to have worked between c1835-1850. The spoon is in very good condition. The spoon measures 12.9 cm (5.1") long, and weighs 17g. All measurements are approximate. Please see photos as these form an important part of the description.
