Antique Victorian silver cream jug, 1881

£165.00

Antique Victorian helmet shaped silver cream jug of Georgian style design, standing on a round stepped pedestal base.

The jug is fully hallmarked for London 1881, has the Victoria head duty mark, and carries the maker's mark for Charles Stewart Harris.
All the hallmarks are quite worn from regular cleaning, but remain readable.

The jug is 9 cm (3.5") tall. It weighs 71g
All measurements are approximate.

The jug is in good overall condition with no dents or misshapenness, but it looks like there may have been a small repair to a split in the pouring lip of the jug.

Please study all photos as these form an important part of the description.
