Antique Georgian silver salver/card tray, 1772

£480.00

This antique silver salver/card tray has a gadroon edge surrounding a plain design tray that stands on three shell feet.

The salver/tray is clearly hallmarked on the underside for London, 1772, and the maker Elizabeth Cooke.
All marks are crisp and clear, except for the maker's mark which has some wear to one corner.

The salver/tray is 16.5 cm (6.5") in diameter, and stands 2.5 cm (1") high. It weighs 250 grams.
All measurements are approximate.
The salver is in very good condition for its age/usage, with only light surface scratching and a couple of minor dings to the finish.

Please study all photos as these form an important part of the description.
