This Aberdeen scottish provincial fiddle pattern silver dessert spoon was made by James Erskine.
The spoon's finial has been engraved.

The spoon carries the mark for James flanked by two Aberdeen town marks - a "three towers" mark and a "dagger" mark.
James Erskine worked c1792 - 1820.

The spoon is in good condition.

The spoon measures 17.5 cm (7") long, and weighs 25g.
