Frank Vernon Martin: The Dodge Sisters

"The Dodge Sisters" is a signed artist's proof of an etching on steel print by Frank Martin. Beth and Betty Dodge, elegant American dancers, turned up all over Europe during the late 1920s. In 1926 they were in C B Cochran's cabaret Summer Time at the Trocadero, and also in a spectacular revue in Berlin. In 1928 they were the stars of the show at the Folies Bergere, in Paris, before returning to the musical comedy stage on Broadway.
